Most Distinguished Senator 2023 Lorenzo DeZavala Youth Legislative Session

Authored one of the six bills that passed the legislative session. Cuauhtémoc Zamora co-founded one of the two parties at the 2023 Texas Lorenzo De Zavala Youth Legislative Session as well as being appointed to serve as the party whip. He was elected as a Senator where he authored a bill entitled the Latino Civics Project which establishes civics education in middle and high schools to promote an understanding of U.S. and state government in order to prepare students to make educated decisions on voting.
